Samak or Loong Muck sees doomed as prime minister of Thailand. The PAD demonstrators have locked him out of his offices. The courts are seeking his ouster for cooking for money on TV. Tourism is down 20-30%. Bar girls are questioning where are the farangs. Foreign press are saying it's just a matter of time. Obviously none of them understand old Big Nose's staying power, for today the wily politician appeared to seal the deal with the army by having his cabinet approve 6 billion baht worth of military hardware along with granting hundreds of generals extra per diems of 15000-18000 baht per month. This gracious gift to the fence-sitters will guarantee things will proceed along as planned ie no change at all.
And the whole world says, "What the hell?"
My bet is for him to become the 26th PM of Thailand.
