No More Bakkum Pipeline

Fracking became a major force in North Dakota during the 00s, as the Bush regime actively pursued the production of oil trapped within the Earth of the Midwest. Water from the aquifer and Missouri River were combined with solvent to be pumped into the depths to free the oil. For year the sludge has been transported from the Bakken and Three Forks fields by the railroad, while the governments, fuel companies, and lobbyists plotted out a path for a pipeline crossing the Great Plains to the refineries of Louisiana.

Right now the Dakota Access Pipeline Project plans to run a 30-inch 1,172-mile pipeline from North Dakota to Patoka, Illinois

Over 400,000 barrels a day.

Jobs too.

Since the drop in the price of oil has killed the fracking industry.

Everyone back to poverty.

The government claims the Pipeline with provide jobs.

Safe and clean according the Dakota Access Pipeline Project.

see http://www.daplpipelinefacts.com/

Not everyone agrees with their optimism and the Sioux people have blocked the construction of the pipeline.

Yesterday the pipeline security attacked the protesters with dogs.

The Sioux people refused to be cowered and North Dakota's governor has called out a century of the state's National Guard to keep order.

These weekend warriors are not protecting the rights of speech, but the rights of corporations.

To do this.

And this.

And this.

Versus protecting this.

The Missouri Breaks.

This is our world.

Not theirs.

Resist.

Call the governor and tell him to rethink his policy.

JD's up for election.

Call them at these numbers.
