Black Plague 2040

Back in 2008 the world experienced an economic collapse due to the greed of the banks. Traffic on Sukhumvit reached a catastrophic density, food prices rose beyond the reach of many people, gas neared 40 baht a liter. Financial pundits on CNN and Fox News argued for saving the banks. I favored their complete failure, because the real cause of the chaos was rampant consumption by a indebted populace. THere were just too many people wanting the same thing.

To be rich, but I recalled parking anywhere I wanted in the 1970s.

Old timers in Pattaya spoke of parking on Beach Road.

No motorcycle rental mafia.

A clean sea.

Some scientists predict things will get worse, while the UN holds symposiums on sustained growth for the nine billion people on this planet in the year 2050. 9 billion and all of them wanting to go to 7/11. Sorry, but they won't be there. Nothing will be, because the world can't provide for 9 billion people.

Some form of the Black Death will take away billions, but not only the weak, for everyone will be weak.

How? Say the entire global food chain is disrupted and people starved on every continent.

No more Slurpies.

No more sum tam.

Not that this massive culling will effect gas prices or traffic.

Only means they'll be place to park again on the Beach Road and also fewer plastic bags on the beach.

Check out the movie CHILDREN OF MAN

No more babies in the future.

None at all.

World population 2050 = 500 million.

Chilling.
