Nihilism of Now

I'm a firm believer that the best course of action is inaction on most occasion and it seems that this belief is sanction by BC, the legendary newspaper comic. The tenet is professed by the master militarist Von Clausewitz in his treatise ON WAR.

"If we cast a glance at military history in general, we find so much the opposite of an incessant advance towards the aim, that STANDING STILL and DOING NOTHING is quite plainly the NORMAL CONDITION of an Army in the midst of War, ACTING, the EXCEPTION."

This philosophy echoes the ancient teachings of Sun Tzu from THE ART OF WAR.

"Do not act when there is nothing to gain."

Or in my words 'do nothing if the pay-off is nothing'.

Advice to be followed without exception in these times of crisis.

Let's see what happens and then make a move or not.
