Angels On The Head Of A Needle
Gallnippers or mega mosquitoes have invaded Seminole County in Florida. According to entomologists at U Fla are about twenty times larger than the local mosquitoes and have a hall of a bite. Judging from the photo I can faithfully answer an ancient query which pesters medieval scholars. Thomas Aquinas wrote in Summa Theologica, "Can several angels be in the same place?"
Supposedly many philosophers debated the possibility of whether a million of Angels fitting on a needle's point, however H. S. Lang's author of Aristotle's Physics and its Medieval Varieties refuted the legend by writing, "The question of how many angels can dance on the point of a needle, or the head of a pin, is often attributed to 'late medieval writers' ... In point of fact, the question has never been found in this form".
Maybe so, but I know have an answer to the mystery.
How many angels can dance on the head of a needle?
None is a gallnippers is on top of it.
