Good Clean Fun for Songkran

Thailand's Culture Ministry has hired GIRLY BERRY to promote clean living for young girls during the Songkran festival, despite the girl band's predilection to wear miniskirts and tube tops for the shows, since sexual harassment is one of the top 10 favorite activities of young drunk Thai men celebrating the Thai new year along with drinking, driving drunk, fighting drunk, and doing drugs drunk.

One of Girly Berry's singers, Mananya Limsatien, admonished the nation's young ladies, "Don't wear wear tank tops, strapless tops or very short pants and anything too revealing or too sexy because it can be dangerous."

Tight white tee-shirts are especially targeted for a dousing of water, since wet they reveal nipples.

Originally a very polite holiday for young people to show respect to their elders by cooling them with water, Songkran has degenerated into a nationwide frenzy of bad behavior and the new Culture Minister has asked young people, "I want people not to forget about Thai culture. Please visit temples, sprinkle water on the Buddha, and bless your elders."

Ah, yeah, right.
