The population of Iowa is a little over three million.
In 2012 less than 10% voted in the GOP caucus deadlocking creationist Rick Santorum with the eventual presidential candidate the Mormon Milt Romney. At this early point in the campaign the renegade billionaire Trump is # 1 in Iowa polls with 22% to the reactionary black ex-surgeon Ben Carter's 14%. Trump's 22% translates into 10,000 Iowans or 1/400th of the Republican vote for president and they like to think that they have a hand in electing a white man to the White House, except the victory only only leads to a presidential triumph 50% of the time.
Normally being bald or wearing a sweep-over would be the kiss for a politician's ambition, however Donald Trump has a very good barber.
Certainly more skilled than Ron Paul's toupee.
Jerry-Curled rat.
But no worries.
America hasn't elected a bald man since Dwight Eisenhower, the last great Republican.
None of the candidates are even close to Ike.
A legend.
Forgotten, but not by me and other Americans.
We love Ike.
Is it against the law to elect dead presidents?
