Grown up LITTLE RASCALS

Children of the 1950s and 1960s were raised by the Bowery Boys, Three Stooges, and the Little Rascals. These show offered a different slant on life than Mickey Mouse. Our parents hated them. We watched them religiously every Saturday morning. The helped lead us into Revolution.

Seeing this photo of the Cast of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest Posing at Oregon State Hospital, Salem, 1974 I thought of those innocent Saturday mornings and how the inmates have taken over the assylum. Trump never watched the Three Stooges.

In 1975, while photographing on the set of the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Mary Ellen Mark met several women who lived on Ward 81 of the film’s location, the Oregon State Hospital in Salem

ps I doubt no Maga fanatic has read Ken Kesey's ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST. They like many Americans are non-literate.
