Thai Cyber-Crime Colonel Catches Counterfeit Fish

The Cyber-Crime unit goes all out to stem the tide of counterfeit goods invading Thailand and no one works harder to let people know he's working hard than that hard-working head colonel of Bangkok's Cyber-Crime unit, who is famed for catching fake fish with his bare hands.
THAICYBER WOMANHUNT AGAINST NUDITY

The Thai prime minister is under siege, gas is at an all-time high, and the violence in Yala simmers ever so ugly, yet the Thai police keep a jai yen or cool heart as displayed by their 27/7 online surveillance of the 19 year-old Chinese girl, who has offered nude photos in exchange for viewers donating money to the Sichuan earthquake relief.
The more money you give the more you see.
Knowing the revulsion Thai police have for pornography their cyber-crime unit is working hard to stamp out this aberration of public morals. Distributing naked photos on the internet is a crime punishable by a $3000 or 100,000 baht fine and/or five years in jail.
Murderers get away with less, as the Interior Minister only knows too well.
Porno bad. Murder bad, but kids will be kids.
The cyber-crime HQ has been warned to stay on their toes by their fearless leader.
The safety of the nation depends on this unit, also charity begins at home or the policeman's welfare society.
Chai-yo.

Osama Where
Two years ago Osama Bin laden escaped from a White House detention cell. Neither the FBI, CIA, NSA, or Boy Scouts have a clue as to his whereabouts. Several talent agencies interest in booking the terrorists on Oprah and BBC's Hardline have also failed to find the Saudi warlord as will as a dozen credit card companies seeking payment for the 9/11 flights. Seems the hijackers credit cards bounced a week later.
Rumors have placed the world's most wanted man in the tribal areas of Pakistan, Elton John's penthouse as well as GW Bush's Crawford, Texas ranch and the Breakers in Palm Beach.
I actually met one of his brothers in London during the 80s. Bought us drinks at Annabelle's.
Nice guy. He died in a plane crash. In the 1980s. Not 9/11.
Anyway I was surprised to overhear Osama Bin Ladin's name at the Buffalo Bar the other night.
It's a Small World After All

The world has gotten bigger as the economy shrinks during the present crisis. Airlines are cutting service around the globe and due to a prediction of 10-20% decrease in air travel the Bangkok-Anywhere flights are being trimmed in accordance with the drop in tourism.
The high baht and tense political climate has also contributed to the sluggish flow of visitors.
Pretty soon travelers at Cobra Swamp Airport will discover, "You can't get there from here."
So punters start sharpening your bar fine pencils.
It's low season plus

USA # 1 for Drugs

Denmark might have scored #1 in the international happiness index, however the USA won the gold for consumption of cannabis and cocaine. The study from the online scientific magazine PLoS Medicine reported that 16.2% of Americans had tried cocaine at least once, and 42.4% had used marijuana. My answer to those findings is bullshit. Those are just the people who admit to having used drugs.
Draconian drug laws appear to have the reverse effect judging from the Netherlands' more enlightened laws on self-intoxication. Dutch cocaine use registered only 1.9% or eight times less than the USA.
USA USA USA.
The War of Drugs is as successful as the USA's search for Osama Bin Laden.
Not at all.
Of course the DEA disputes these numbers pointing to the record tonnage they seized in 2007 and the DEA are the real experts on drugs.
Cigarette Theft Sparks 200 Person Melee

"I'm not black, but there's a lot of times I'm not proud to be white." Frank Zappa sang on FREAK OUT.
This weekend no one was really proud about a 200 person donnybrook at a Florida gas station. Cause of the riot. A pack of cigarettes. 20 rolled cancer sticks. Cost $2.72. Six arrests were effected by the Ft. Myers police after driver at a gas station was assaulted by six individuals, who claimed she had stolen a pack of cigarettes. Her car sustained damage before the police arrived to quell the rebellion. No one was hurt, but in Ft. Myers News-Press blogs the crackers were up in arms.
Excerpts from the bloggers;
After reading the headline I knew it wasn't about whites. No wonder whites and Western Civ. dominate the world. As long as excuses are made and these punk thugs are pandered to by our schools and politicians, these activities will never stop. I say we need a Gitmo in the Arctic Circle for useless animals like this group.
These fine upstanding young ladies are nothing but a bunch of thugs. Ship 'em off to prison where they belong. Animals!

Hey the kids just wanna have fun. I used to fight at the South Boston St. Padraic's Day parade. We were all heroes. Violence was fun, but this was a little out of hand. I grant the KKK that. No excuses. Fuck ups are fuck-ups.
