Spoiling For A Fight
AIPAC or The American Israel Public Affairs Committee is holding its annual meeting in Washington to pressure President Barack Obama into militarily backing the Zionist nation launch a pre-emptive strike on Iran. The Israeli Prime Minister met with Obama at the White House to discuss their differences in strategy. According to the BBC Obama was declared that all options are open for discussion, while Netanyahu insisted that his country "must have the ability to defend itself, by itself, against any threat."
The CIA have refuted Israeli claims about the Iranian nuclear potential.
Over 50% of the America public are wary of being dragged into another Middle East war.
The Pentagon is equally adverse to any overseas misadventure. Ten years in Iraq has tapped our reserves and without the assistance of US air-fueling capabilities the Israelis would be sorely tested to effectively hit their targets with precision, thereby necessitating their bombing civilian targets to prove their resolve. Only the Neo-Cons, religious Zionists, and radical AIPAC contingents back this doomsday tactic.
Obama has little patience with Israel's leader.
Last year he told French president Sarkozy, "You may be sick of him, but me, I have to deal with him every day."
AL-JAZEERA
Last week Vietnam with whom the USA fought a 30 year war announced their intentions to pursue a nuclear policy. No mention of this development in the American or Israeli or Iranian media.
Obama had heard enough bullshit from Israel and said, "Already there is too much loose talk of war. For the sake of Israel's security, America's security, and the peace and security of the world, now is not the time for bluster."
Mitt Romney countered in the press that Obama's re-election assured Iran's entering the H-Bomb club.
As HAARETZ noted in their report Obama said to AIPAC reps, "America comes first their name."
I hope that he remembers that in the days to come.
