People around the world are angry with the status quo. Mainstream media has no contact with the real world and they responded to this dire stte of things that democracy was passe, "The problem with that is: A little less than half the developed world's population is not interested in helping others unless it personally enriches them. That's the root cause of the divide."
I called out this bullshit by countering, "I've lived many places. everyone in the world is the same. they wake in the morning and hope for a better day. the problem are the elites. Once during a uprising in SE Asia the people burned, but did not loot a luxury mall and a taxi driver said to me, "I can live with them having stolen my life, but I hate Khon Yai for wanting to steal my children's lives."
I've heard the same thing in other countries. the struggle is not for the right to vote, but the desire to be human. The blessed rich constitute the filthy. 0000001 %. The banks, the government, the army, the police et al suppressing life itself. Here in the USA as well in the Time of 47.
January 6, 2021 Donald Trump on the Mall exhorted a large crowd of supporters protesting the previous year's 'Stolen election' to march on the Capitol, where the Congress certefying the vote for Joe Biden as the 46th President of the USA.

Trump declared from the podium of the STOP THE STEAL crowd of several tens of thousands disgruntled white males and some females. Their MAGA messiah had been denied a second term. It didn't matter that he lost by millions of votes as well as in the Election College. They were enraged by firebrands like Alex Jones, who claimed that the White House asked him to lead the march to the Capitol according to Wikipedia. In the weeks before 1/6 the leaders of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers had preached to their minions that the only way to save America was to storm the Capitol Building. Trump had ordered the newly appointed Secretary of Defense to protect the MAGA crowd and no troops were on hand for the attempted coup d'etat.

Next came the attack. The violent rioters overwhelmed the Capitol police. They had no back-up from the National Guard thanks to supporters within the military. The videos of 1/6 are . The attack failed to stop the certification of the election results. The riot cost five lives; a female rioter one was shot by the Capitol Police, another died of a drug overdose, and three died of natural causes, including a police officer who died of a stroke a day after being assaulted by rioters and collapsing at the Capitol.Many people were injured, including 174 police officers. Four officers who responded to the attack died by suicide within seven months. Damage caused by attackers exceeded $2.7 million. All this from Wikipedia.
The new White House went after the guilty. Hundreds were sentenced to prison and Trump narrowly avoided prosecution for his part in the uprising. he Senate voted 57–43 in favor of conviction. A conviction mneeded three more votes. In 2016 Trump annoounced to a crowd in Iowa, "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?."
Damn, right, and five years later the traitor hs complete control of the government. High on cocaine and adderal he doesn't sleep. All night he has AI tweeting his mad proclaimations and the other branches of the government had been enfeebled by what now can be called a dictatorship. It is a time to be safe and the only way to be safe is resist and the best way is stop paying your taxes. Start today. Enough not doing nothing.
