I'm back in the city
From Montauk
Riding the subway from Brooklyn to Manhattan
40 baht one way
Old trains
But they have AC and work most of the time
It's the easiest way to travel
On my way to see friends
Back in the city
Not so lonely
I'm seeing old friends
But I am always alone
Without my family
So far away
On the otehr side of the world
I feel like an orphan sometimes
But tonight I will look on the full blood red moon
And know
My family will see that red too
Tomorrow night in Thailand
And I think of our eyes meeting on the moon
Together
A world apart___
