Trump At War Everywhere

On Christmas Day 47 unleashed two dozen Tomahawk missiles on "ISIS terrorist scum in Northwest Nigeria who have been targeting and viciously killing primarily innocent Christians at levels not seen for many years and even centuries.

"Nigeria’s Information Ministry later said that the government, in collaboration with the US, had “successfully conducted precision strike operations” targeting ISIS hideouts in the forests of Tangaza district in Sokoto.

The UK Telegraph reported Craters can be seen in the ground of the village of Jabo in Sokoto state, but locals say nobody was killed, and insist that the area has been free from militant violence for several years.

Omoyele Sowore, the activist and former Nigerian presidential candidate, said on Saturday: “Twenty-four hours after the bombing, neither Nigeria nor its so-called ‘international partners’ can provide clear, verifiable information about what was actually struck.”

Another unbrilliant attack by the orange crackhead.

No casualties, but at least no civilians killed by the Pentagon. Everyone heard them coming at 550mph. A few mintu4s warning thankfully to those on ground.

And that was a good as it gets for the Pentagon in Nigeria.

ps a Tomahawk missile cost $2 million. Times twenty-five. $50 million to hit empty fields around of the village of Jabo in the north of Nigeria. Another job not well done.

ps Tomahawk missiles typically carry 1000-pound warheads.

According to AI Crater Size: A direct hit typically leaves a crater approximately 20 feet (6 meters) wide and 10 feet (3 meters) deep. The estimated safe distance for people outdoors is 1,500 feet (457 meters). Several landed without any explosion. Nigerian still say theere were no fatalities. Photos of the bomb landing sites show nothing like that, meaning the warheads were duds, a warning, or else the Navy command secretly ageed no killing on Chirstmas Eve.

Why Venezuela

47 has ordered 4,500 Marines and sailors on a naval and air task force into the Caribbean as a military threat against the leader of Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro and his socialist regime. Millions of Venzuelans have fled their homeland and traveled by any means possible to the USA. THere is a colony of over two thousand refugees in my neighborhood of Clinton Hell. Most of them are families with large numbers of undernourished children. NOt one of the adults are over 5-6 due to malnutrition resulting from the American embargo to prevent the sale of oil fro the World's second largest reserve of oil. The millions are also seeking escape from the terror of the narco-traffickers, since Venezuela exports 15% of the cocaine from the Andes to feed the USA.

Over the last months the Pentagon under Captain Hesgeth, who has admitted announced to the press, "According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Venezuela is not a cocaine-producing country. No matter. The USA has conducted several attacks against fast boats on the open sea. No investigation. No intl. Strictly eyeballed from a drone and greenlighted by (SOUTHCOM) located in Doral, Florida. According to CNN the latest overnight strike against killed six bringing the total number known of targeted boats to 10 and the number of people killed to 43 since the US began its campaign last month.

The Pentagon has yet to win a war in this century, despite waging an eternal war against everything and everywhere. The DEA lost of the War of Drugs but like the Japanese soldiers stranded on Pacific islands post WWII, the DEA refuses to accept defeat. The Sackler family's promotion of oxycontin killed over a million Americans with millions more physically destroyed by OD. For their role in this ongoing epidemic the Sacklers will pay approximately $6.5 billion in installments over the next 15 years, with a $1.5 billion payment upon the plan's effective date. Aux le guillotine!!!

Meanwhile the USA imports approximately 1500 tons of blow for domestic consumption. OR about four billion grams. Valued at $200 billion. Deaths 20,000 plus. But the Sacklers remain free.

Why Venezuela? East answer. To create the Fog of War to allow more importation by the CIA of course and nothing better to create fog than a Category 5 hurricane. Melissa. We are # 1.

A Winter War

Throughout this Autumn and Winter Russia's leader Boris Putin has been threatening the Ukraine with invasion to prevent any further Western incursion to the ex-Soviet republic. The USA and UK have responded with supplying weapons and supplies to the steppe nation and the newspapers daily report on the potential war without mentioning that only one country has invaded a country in the winter.

The 1939-1940 Winter War between the USSR and Finland was a disaster from the first step over the Arctic frontier. Stalin's troops fought for three months without any success and signed a truce in March.

Lesson learned by the Axis command.

Nothing and the Japanese seized the distant Aleutian Island of Attu from the US after the naval debacle of Midway. Their soldiers suffered from the cold and deprivations of an army trapped in a distant land.

Winters are much better suited to sieges and retreats.

The Nazi defeat at Stalingrad and Napoleon's Retreat from Moscow.

Only 15,000 Wehrmacht Soldaten returned to Germany aftr World War II and only 1500 troops survived the horrible march to the safety of Poland.

War this winter?

I doubt it.

Spring?

No one wants a war, except the Pentago who have never backed away from a war they sought to lose.

The War Is Not Over

President Eisenhower had prevented the USA from becoming involved in the Vietnamese civil war.

He was a military man who understood that the military-industrial complex was only interested in profits as well as the logistic strain of transporting troops and weapons halfway around the world to fight support the despised Diem dictatorship. Unfortunately after the disastrous Bay of Pigs and Cuban Missile Crisis the Kennedy administration had to play tough against any form of communism to placate the arch-conservatives on Congress. The CIA okayed the assassination of the Diem and set up puppet governments to fight a 10,000 Day War.

The 1968 Viet Cong Tet Offensive basically proved to a large segment of Americans that this war was unwinnable by the Pentagon, who only cared about 10-to1 body counts of VC versus the dead soldiers from the USA.

The Pentagon turned our troops into baby-killers.

Still I wanted to enlist.

Mostly to get out of my hometown on the South Shore of Boston, but my mother, an arch-anti-communist, refused to singed my underaged enlistment papers.

Like millions of other American youth I became a hippie.

I marched against the War and I cried the night of RFK's murder by the Dark Cabal.

I miss his life.

Almost 50 years gone.

A long time ago.

Nixon, The war criminal Kissinger, the Fall of Phnom Penh, the bombing of Laos, millions of dead.

The Khmer Rouge.

All the world needed was peace.

But the War dividing America is stronger than ever.

I'm living in Juneau Alaska this summer.

Four year ago I was selling jewelry to the tourists off cruise ships.

"Most of them are from the South.

This afternoon a four-year vet came into the store.

He wasn't buying and I said, "I'm trying to get a pension from the Pentagon for my anti-war protests."

"Maybe you should ask Jane Fonda. She was a traitor to America."

Our war was not over and I said, "Same as Nixon.

He said nothing and my boss came over to ask why I failed to score. She was not a hippie and had abandoned her son at 14.

"He didn't want to buy nothing."

"You'll get lots of those."

And I did for the rest of the day.

Curse you Jane Fonda.

"And peace on Earth.

War War War

Hawks in the media and military establishment are calling for America to address the threat of ISIS after the video beheadings of journalists covering the civil war in Syria.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney told Fox News commentator, "Now, are we going to pull yourself up by our bootstraps and get on with the business of destroying ISIS, or are we simply going to sit back and agonize every time they commit another outrageous act?"

Army general Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff reported at a media conference, "ISIS is an organization that has an apocalyptic, end-of-days strategic vision which will eventually have to be defeated.”

President Obama has responded to the crisis by condoning more drone strikes, which led to the vengeful decapitation of the reporters, and ordering hundreds of soldiers to Iraq to bolster the National Army's resolve against the fanatical invaders from Syria.

The situation on the ground is fluid with various factions probing each other's weaknesses before committing to a coalition designed to oust ISIS from Iraq. Kurds, Shiites, Sunnis, militants, communists, and the national government are bartering for larger stakes in the country without any longtime commitment to the cause of national unity.

Fox News has been fear-mongering about retaliatory attacks on the White House and an ISIS invasion across the Mexican border. People are talking about the radical Muslims as if they are grouping in Nogales to take over Tucson, but Iraq is thousands of miles away from the USA. Mexico already has an armed rebellion on its hands with drug traffickers, who will not allow ISIS interlopers to interfere with their business, and the US military is shot after a long war in Iraq and an endless conflict in Afghanistan.

The last thing America needs at this time is another war, but sadly that will probably be what we get next, because the Pentagon and the military-industrial can fight a war at home, even though they are willing to try as seen in Ferguson, Missouri.

End the war in Afghanistan.

Bring the troops home.

Inside Attacks

The NATO and ISAF troops in Afghanistan are approaching the eleventh year of occupation of that war-torn country. They have fought the Taliban in armed battles, suffered IED attacks, and suicide bombing, however this year an increasing number of supposed Taliban infiltrators into the Afghani Army have turned their weapons on their instructors and foreign troops or what the IASF have termed 'Insider Attack'. More than fifty foreign soldiers have been killed or wounded in these 'insider attacks' or 'green on blue', forcing commanders to restrict contact between the Allies of the Afghan government and the Afghan Army. The entire Taliban accusation smacks of misinformation, for some of these attacks come after instructors have berated recruits in a Camp Pendleton fashion or argued with Afghani soldiers over command issues, but the military have focused on the other side and closed training of police throughout Afghanistan. To misquote GW Bush "mission unaccomplished'. And the UN Secretary General has finally said the obvious; "From now until the end of 2014 you may see adaptation of our presence. Our troops can redeploy, take on other tasks, or even withdraw, or we can reduce the number of foreign troops. If the security situation allows, I would not exclude the possibility that in certain areas you could accelerate the (withdrawal) process." Bring the troops home. ps the name of the last US fatality is Stephens, Riley G. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. He died from a green on blue attack.

2000 Plus

Tonight Texas is playing Tennessee for a berth in the Little League World Series. The crowd at Willamsport, PA is about 5000. I was watching the game this evening with my landlord's two kids. The score was 0-0 in the 2nd inning. ESPN showed happy faces eating hot dogs and slupring slush. There was no mention of the 80,000 troops in Afghanistan or that the number of US Military deaths in that long war have topped 2000. This morning the New York Times did not ignore that number. The center pages of the A Section was filled with the faces of the dead. Life Magazine had published the faces of the dead from a week in Viet-Nam. In the Times I noticed that some were young and some were old. A few were female. They all have names, although none of the dead Afghani dead are counted in the death tolls. One of the most recent US casualties was Lance Cpl. Gregory T. Buckley Jr. from Long Island. The New York Times reported that three out of four were white, 9 out of 10 were enlisted service members, and one out of two died in either Kandahar Province or Helmand Province in Taliban-dominated southern Afghanistan. Their average age was 26 and they were Marines. Eleven years with the Pentagon telling the White House to stay the fucking course. Fuck you. Bring the troops home. Barack Obama, do it before the election. According to the NY Times Mrs. Buckley recounted things her son loved — basketball, girls, movies, the beach — bitterness choked her words. “Our forces shouldn’t be there. It should be over. It’s done. No more.” Sorry for your loss, Mrs. Buckley. And this is the failing the White House, the GOP, the Democrats, the Pentagon, and especially the Press like ABC whose lead-in story for the 7PM news was the Ex-Penn State Pres. Citing His Own Child Abuse and a woman losing $4.68M Down Payment on NYC Apartment. Fuck you, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOx, CNN and the rest of your useless flacks. The news of today is not dead and California is in the finals for the final berth in the LLWS.

Waverider On The Loose

Until the advent of the steam engine the speed of man relied on our own muscles or those of a saddled horse. That barrier has been successively broken by trains, cars, planes, and rockets with the aim of getting someone somewhere somehow faster than before and yesterday the Pentagon launched the X-51 Waverider from a B-52 bomber over the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. Previous missions have ended in failure and Boeing has been slow to announce the test results, however at a speed of Mach 6 or 4300 MPH the Waverider could cut travel between New York and London to less than an hour. Previously NASA had achieved Mach 9.6 or 7000 miles per hour with the X-43, but the Pentagon is more interested in the military uses of the Waverider as a hypersonic cruise missile, since the cost of reaching that speed is astronomical, unless you're a billionaire or the Pentagon. For the rest of us it's subsonic on a 747. And I'm happy with that, since those hours aloft are spent without any interference from the rest of the world and that peace and quiet is a rarity these days.
