Donald Trump shocked the Democratic Party, as his followers ignored his thirty-four felony convictions for fraud and a criminal guilty sentence for rape to elect him to the White House for a third time. Democratic voters stayed away from the polls. Eight million less than 2020. There were plenty of reasons; horrible Kumbaya for Harris, Tim Walz, her VP candidate, looked too much like the comedian Tim Conway and confused elder voters as to why they were voting for the star of MCHALE'S NAVY, Gaza, also no message, Biden's withdrawal ad nauseum. I voted for Harris and on Election Day I sat outside on Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn knowing Harris wasn't going to win, because I heard so many Democrats say they couldn't vote for a cat woman. But a felon?

"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" Trump remarked at a campaign stop at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa in January 2016. "It's, like, incredible."

Obviously he still has retained that right having survived an assassination attempt during this latest campaign, although what about the lone gunman's right to stand and defend?

It is not against federal law for a convicted felon to run or serve as president, although does a convicted sex offender have to register to live in a neighborhood? Does this rapist have to register in the White House?

I personally don’t consider these things when I vote for any public position, but the times and the norms are changing. You can be so proud. You voted for a sex offender.

And felons should be allowed to run for political office, even President. Having suffered through Nixon, Reagan, and Trump I and II, I reckon we can survive Trump III. Even the Germans and barely the Jews survived Hitler. And even they voted for Trump, then again they do buy BMWs and Mercedes Benzs. Go figure.

In this democracy, ten million convicts are denied the right to vote, mostly due to unpaid legal fees. A country founded on extermination, enslavement, and exploitation. The Land of the Freaked. I’d say revolt, but why bother since most liberals agree with the Beatles singing, “And if you want destruction, then count me out.”

And now Trump has called for a crusade against the mullahs of Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran has been a radical fundamentalist state since the 1979 Fall of the Shah. Two weeks into the war Trump's armed forces with Zionist air strikes have accomplished widespread destruction in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and of course the West Bank with plans to widen the conflict to then conquer Cuba and seize Greenland. 47 is a dreamer. My older friends have surrendered to the MAGA wave either by supporting Trump or are so stunned that this coup d'etat had happened to America that have surrendered to the enemy much as the French had in 1940. Plastic Straws Out Of Government

According to the Guardian The Madman on the Potomac has vowed to reverse Joe Biden’s plan to phase out plastic straws across the US government, complaining that paper alternatives don’t work and that a move is needed to go “BACK TO PLASTIC! Enjoy your next drink without a straw that disgustingly dissolves in your mouth!!!”

A well-known Diet Coke addict their President had a new red button installed in the Oval Office to inform his staffers than the Commandeer-In-Chief needs his can of Diet Coke. No plastic bottles. Woe to the lowly apprentice who fails to please the Orange Messiah.

US Elections 2024

Donald Trump has resumed his role as Leader of the American people in a devastating loss for the Kamala Harris. Her Kumbaya Joy campaign after Biden's protracted abdication coupled with the wars in Ukraine, inflation, and emigration left the Democratic Vice President little time to combat the GOP leader's headstart. The defections of Latinos and Black males to the Orange Messiah nailed shut the coffin and we wake on a sunny morning in New York with clouds on the horizon, as the Republicans control the White House, Supreme Court, the Senate, and perhaps the House of Representatives.

Yesterday I sat outside 387 and thought about Mrs. Harris winning the election, suspecting the worst. The worst has come to roost. Life will go on, knowing the GOP will come after Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, the EPA, censorship of media ad nauseum.

Trump's victory is easily by a quote attributed to HL Mencken, an American author and social critic.

"Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.", which according to Wikipedia was not found verbatim in his published works, so the source and original form of this expression are not known with certainty. Likely a nearly verbatim paraphrase of: "No one in this world, so far as I know ... has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people.

A Lone White Male From Hawaii

Yesterday a lone gunman hid behind a fence obscured by vines at a West Palm Beach golf course owned by Donald Trump, who still considers himself the 2020 president-elect. His hiding place was on the fifteh green.

According to the Secret Service, who were protecting Donald Trump playing a morning round of golf, an agent spotted shooter was spotted a rifle muzzle poking theough the bushes. Shots were fired an a white male fled the scene and escaped in an SUV leaving behind a SKS semiautomatic rifle, basically an AK 47 equipped with a sniper scope. 45 minutes later police stopped the vehicle and the man surrendered without any further gunplay. The 58 year old white male was taken into federal custody and arraigned on various charges. No bail was set at this time.

My sister called this morning to ask my take on this incident, knowing my predilection for conspiracies.

"Inside Secret Service job. Trump is facing prison time. if he goes to prison, the Secret Service agents will have setve shifts with him and none if them want that job. Si they are purposely telaxing their vigilance "

Of course none of explainhed the financing of the shooter's trip from Hawaii to West Palm Beach, but Ryan Routh has reported a monthly income of $3000. Guilty Times 34 - Trump

Last week a New York jury found the Orange Messiah guilty, issuing thirty-four convictions stemming from Trump's decision to not pay the agreed sum of $120000 to buy Stormy Daniels silence. At his July 12th sentencing he will appeal the verdicts.

If sentenced as a first offender he will probably get community service.

He will still be still entitled to Secret Service protection meaning he will have a large bodyguard squad whilst sweeping the streets in Brooklyn. Have your water balloons ready.

During his 2020 presidential campaign Joe Biden promised to address the massive college debt of millions of graduates and non-graduates paying from 4-8% on the loans. Once elected he proposed a debt relief. THe GOP rejected this measure mostly protesting that not everyone had to go to college and debts had to be paid, except those by banks, the rich, and corporations. Stymied by the conservatives in Congress, Biden suspended payment during the Covid crisis and allowed millions of people to live almost normal lives without paying 20-40% of their wages to the government, however that relief is coming to an end this month. Federal loan offices are attempting to issue millions of payment plans without any success. The former president of Purdue has accused the president of buying votes. As much as forty million voters, although Plan B has been pared down to 10-20 million with plenty of restrictions, so the Republicans will feel free to offer more tax cuts to the rich. Former President Donald Trump sided with the Supreme Court.

Last year pseudo-president Trump announced to scores of followers, “Today, the Supreme Court also ruled that President Biden cannot wipe out hundreds of billions, perhaps trillions of dollars, in student loan debt, which would have been very unfair to the millions and millions of people who paid their debt through hard work and diligence; very unfair." ignoring that over two-thirds of the voters see the merit of forgiveness.

Last January Rick Scott R FLA introduced in Senate (01/25/2023) Debt Cancellation Accountability Act of 2023, which prohibited the Department of Education from providing class-based loan forgiveness unless funds have been specifically requested and appropriated for this purpose.

HIs fellow party members applauded the act. It was never introduced to the floor in the 2023 session, since any legislator voting for such an act would be ousted from government by an angry debt-ridden populace. The Once and now President Trump an estimated $738 million of debt coming due over the next three years. While not capital wealthy, Trump has billions on paper, albeit inflated value verging on fraud. If elected to a third term, then he could conceivably forgive his debt, which is about 40% of all college debts.

Caesar crossed the Rubicon with huge debts owed for the Conquest of Gaul, despite having ravaged the land for gold, slaves, and land. Whatever money he was able to squeeze from Crassus, he used to deed the poor, thus threatening the debt by which the powerful senators controlled the Romans. Caesar reneged on the debt and the Senate took its revenge. I used to think that Caesar was killed for paying off all the debt of the hoi polloi. I was wrong.

Guilty As Charged

Two days ago a New York City jury of six men and three women found Donald Trump guilty of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll as well as publicly defaming her character. He was absolved of rape and assault by the jury. The GOP 2024 presidential candidate was not assigned any jail time, as this was a civil suit. Damages awarded to the writer were set at over $5 million. Donald Trump immediately announced that his legal team would appeal the judgment.

While the jury found that Trump sexually abused Carroll, sufficient to hold him liable for battery, the jury did not find that she proved he raped her. He does not face any jail time as a result of the civil verdict. Trump said he will appeal the verdict.

"Somehow we’re going to have to fight this stuff," Trump said. "We cannot let our country go into this abyss. This is disgraceful.”
