Under The Gun
Back in the 70s the cops were scared of the streets, but not any more.
Two days ago a National Guard solider was murdered by an undercover cop after his victim supposedly cut off two unmarked vans of the Grand Central Parkway. The driver had picked up two females from a Queens nightclub to drive home. One passenger was a NYPD officer under suspension.
Upon stopping the Honda a detective approached the car and shoot the driver, who died at the hospital. CBS reported Noel Polanco had been drinking, although the female passenger said that he had a few drinks at the bar at which the two worked. She admitted that her friend was driving erratically, but explained to Wall Street Journal, "The police proceeded to try to chase us, sticking their middle finger at us and screaming obscenities at the car and trying to pull us over."
The one bullet fired went by her face and she insisted, "He was shot intentionally ... All you had to do was pull him over, ask for license and registration and take him to jail. There was no reason for this innocent kid to be killed."
The shooting officer was treated for a hurt eardrum and released from the hospital.
Everyone in this country is innocent until proven guilty, even the dead.
