I have been sober for over four years. Between my first beer behind in the St. Elizabeth Church parking lot and my last at Birdy's on Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn 7/30/2021 I experienced perhaps ten thousand hang-overs. At first after quitting booze, I awoke with phantom hangovers, until my brain realized there was no alcohol in my body. Four years later no hangovers. No antlers. Just thankfully sober and alive.
