Penang Visa Restriction

Jean-Luc flew to Malaysia for a tourist visa. 60 days with one re-entry. The Penang consulate official returned the passport and said, "This is the last time for tourist visa. No more."

For tourist-visa fans let it be known that Thai consulates and embassies throughout Asia will be demanding for proof of a return ticket before issuing a tourist visa renewal in order to curtail the westerners using this visa to remain in Thailand for an indefinite period of time.

Everyone on Thai visa was pissing pros and cons of the new visa regulations. More...

They like to whinge.

Farangs are still welcome in the Land of Smiles, however not forever, unless in possession of the proper visa ie retirement, O B, or Super-OS ie Super over-stay.

You don't see any Africans or Indians on border runs.

Here are the new requirements

TOURIST VISA
1. REQUIREMENT
This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom for tourism purposes .

2. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
- Visa application form completely filled out
- Recent( 4 x 6 cm.) photograph of the applicant
- Evidence of travel from Thailand (air ticket paid in full)

Good-bye paradise. Hello Bagdhad a Go-Go.

The Thailiban beat the farangs.

Who would have thunk?
