Asshole Alert - The Wall Street Journal

Throughout the GW Bush regime the Wall Street Journal touted the financial markets as the saviour of capitalism. Common people listened to their advice. Stocks and housing prices ballooned until 2007, when someone finally noticed that the economy had been fucked by our dependence on voodoo economics. In keeping with their tradition of off-loading blame, an editorial in today's WSJ suggested that Obama is running out of people to blame for the collapse of the American economy and that his White house should look in the mirror to see what they have done to deepen the national distress.

'Uncertainty and less confidence".

The WSJ actually believes that we are in a recession.

The word is depression, you assholes and like a beer belly you don't get rid of a depression by sobering up on Monday after an eight-year binge.

Tax cuts remain their solution to everything.

Someone has to bring these boys to the woodshed so they can get re-educated to the reality of this New World.

I agree with their assessment on bailouts.

I'm all for AIG's failure and GM disappearing from the face of the Earth, but they are more worried about the wealth of their readers than the health of Americans judging from their concern about falling values for HMOs.

Like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh the Wall Street Journal stands for everything that brought America to the brink of disaster.

Plain old American stupidity.
