Drug Ring Busted on Thai Island Paradise

Ecstasy has been a party drug for years. Most users consider it a pleasurable addition to a rave and in comparison to tobacco which kills over 10 million people per year the psycho-active drug is relatively harmless other than frying abuser's brains and dangerously depleting a dance-mad ravver's body fluid balance.

Personally I've experimented with the drug several times with disappointing results.

I suffered the one thing worse than an overdose.

An underdose, so I'm less than impressed with its power, however the ever-vigilant eyes of the DEA focused on Koh Samui this weekend. A mixed squad of Thai and US drug fascists arrested 30 people for possession with intent to sell the drug to happy-face tourists.

The drug ring was also selling beat cocaine to party-goers and the leader of the cartel was a potential terrorist from Iran. CIA sources say that he is a fugitive from Iranian justice, having fled the country after the 1979 revolution. He was 8 at the time.

The police seized his assets.

100 million bahts worth.

No drugs were found on the premises.

By the way Chaweng Beach was one of my favorites until the fat party-goers ruined it.

Viva la past.
