There is no better time to stage a coup than during the absence of a leader.
Thailand's PM Thaksin was deposed during a visit to the UN two years ago. Countless other presidents, kings, and prime ministers have suffered the same fate while absent from their countries. Having your effigy hung from a street post is certainly a better fate than experiencing the event in person and the present PM of Thailand has announced his departure for the UN annual meeting, possibly setting the stage for a change in power.
Do nothing. Let other do. react.
The Rules of War.
And the beat goes on.
