TRAITOR the movie
I haven't been to the cinema in years. Theaters are filled with popcorn crunchers and cell-phone addicts. The price of a ticket is almost a six-pack of Bud or 45 tall boys of Modelo. I watch films online and I don't feel cheated by sloppy Hollywood storylines like TRAITOR, a film about 'terrorists' chased by the brilliant FBI. Good guys vs the bad guys with no shades of gray.
"If a man doesn't have something for which isn't willing to die, then he is not a man." The lead 'terrorist' quotes Martin Luther King in a clever attempt to smear the deceased civil rights leader with the taint of Islamic terrorism and through the rash of bombings instill the viewing public of the ferocity of a deadly enemy if only as portrayed by Hollywood.
Good acting can not cover the propaganda value of this film.
I give it 1-star.
