Tshanna HIts Stateside

It's hurricane season. Storms roll across the Atlantic. The force of their wind lashes the ocean. Their power destroys nearly all in their path. For decades the US Meteorological Service gave these storms names of women. Once out of good Christian names, they switched to men's names. Once more good Christian names, but the accelerated flurry of topical depressions arising each season has depleted the good Christians names to a handful and now the USMS has to resort to eubonics for the names.

Tshanna this week and next in line Tsike Turner.

No more slave names for hurricanes.

I'd love to have a hurricane named after me however Peter was taken by the last tropical storm of 2003. It never reached land.
