The Man on the Wall

GW Bush defied critics by appearing live at the GOP convention albeit on a bigger-than-life stadium video screen. The 'mission accomplished' president gave a satellite farewell speech to his followers. Some of the faithful cheered every word of his 8-minute, as he passed the torch of the War on Terror to John McCain.

"John is an independent man who thinks for himself. He's not afraid to tell you when he disagrees. Believe me, I know."

GW Bush expressed full confidence in the Arizona senator transitioning to Commander in Chief.

"We live in a dangerous world and we need a president who understands the lessons of Sept. 11, 2001: that to protect America, we must stay on the offense, stop attacks before they happen, and not wait to be hit again. The man we need is John McCain."

The crowd went crazy and only a few people could hear the shouts of 'Four more years."

Better the evil you know than the good you fear.
