Next month the Chinese will be hosting the 2008 Summer Olympics and no event is more eagerly awaited by the Chinese than the synchronized swimming as shown by the enthusiastic turn-out for the national team's qualification trial. Thousands of aquatic atheletes crowded the pool to perform a massive water ballet to the song KUNG-FU FIGHTING. Complimentary inner tubes were distributed to the participants as a memento of their Olympic aspirations.
