Dutch Murder IN Pattaya Update

The Pattaya police capped their investigation into the murder of a Dutch resident by revealing to the media that the murderers have reported to the Banglamung Police Station to face charges of murder.

The original suspect confessed after questioning that the actual murderer was her friend, a woman, who struck the farang over the head to steal his watch valued at 2 million baht along with 800,000 baht on the premises. She probably was just trying to knock him out, but didn't know her own strength.

The two accused two dutifully re-enacted the crime for the police and media. This part of Thai justice always astounds me, however having been arrested in Thailand I know that it is better to cooperate with the police unless you have enough money to fight the charges in and out of court.

The women will face charges in the coming week.
